PC OPTIMUM, Lets share deals, offers, info

What a successful day. Over $600 spent at SS,,which equals more that $240 back to me....Goto Shoppers and pick up Dyson dryer for my Greek wifes hair,,,redeem points and then get back another 100k in points for that purchase...Cant remember last time I was this excited about xmas shopping....lol

I do like the bonus redemption weekend before Christmas, usually the best deal. I didn't have as many points as years past but I did get quite a bit of stuff for our stockings, and some butter that was on sale lol. Now to build it back up for next year I guess.

Has anyone noticed that some items are starting to be on " sale" for a better sale price a Shopper's vs Superstore?

I've noticed things like toothpaste, deodorant, and bodywash has been a better price?

I've been picking more of those items (on sale) at shoppers and getting more points because of it. Not that I'm complaining, but could it be to try to get people to shop there more again as some of their pricing has been called out on social media so much. And yes, some of their pricing is insane. I feel bad for small communities where that is the only option for some people.

I can't say I've noticed but your tip will have me looking closer. I always assume Superstore is better prices than Shoppers so just go there. Will look more closely now!

I got a pretty great deal today. Switch Lite is $269. I have a ton of points so I was able to use 180,000 points to cover the $269 and I just had to pay tax. THEN there was a targeted offer that you got 75,000 points for purchasing the Switch whether you paid for it with points or cash. So the $269 item cost me 105,000 points plus $50 in tax.

Yup, I notice this. And if you have a No Frills grocery store near you (Loblaws chain), that is cheaper than Superstore as well. I was shocked at how much cheaper the exact same products are (produce, deli meats, condiments, yogurt, everything!)

Shoppers on their weekend 2-day sales are always good deals.
