Okay, now we are on Islands of Adventure day... it was hot and sunny and we did Hulk twice, Storm Force or whatever it's called, Spiderman twice, Jurassic Park River Adventure twice, duelling dragons twice and then the Sinbad show and it was time for lunch at Mythos. Front of the line is fabulous, people have to be insane to go to universal and not stay at a universal hotel.
Mythos is so cool inside
Bread & butter on the table
Noel had the
Chef's Pizza - plain, cheese only $7.50
Fay had the
Buffalo BBQ Fried Chicken Wrap - (Lunch Only) Spicy, sweet fried chicken with cheddar mashed potatoes and fresh greens wrapped in a grilled tortilla with french fries $12.95
She said it was a little weird with the mashed potatoes in the wrap but she loved the taste!
The day before at Lombard's I had the
Chinese Chicken Salad and I was surprised to see it here at Mythos too, I had to have it!
It was a little different than Lombard's, the dressing was lighter and the creamy sauce garnish was horseradish which was yummy. I loved both versions and couldn't pick a favourite. Mythos' version was $11.95.
I don't have sweets, but that didn't stop Fay or Noel.
Noel had the kids
Rice Krispy Sushi Treats - Rich Krispy Treats Presented Sushi Style $1.99
Fay had the
Warm Chocolate Banana Gooey Cake - with foster sauce, plantations and peanut butter ice cream $5.25 and said it was FABULOUS!
This is the 3rd time I've eaten at Mythos and I've never been disappointed yet. The servers were coming around with trays of the $1.75 dessert shots - they looked so pretty, I'm sorry I didn't get a pic to show you.
We were sitting on the window side that looks over the lagoon, just as we were finishing up the waterski show started. I think I would try and time lunch for during a showtime to see if I'd luck out with a window table and a good view
