Has anyone tried the payless croc look alikes? Are they as good as the originals (for the price). Due to the hideous nature of the shoe I will probably only use them on my Disney trip in June and would like to save money if possible. Also are there any good discount codes for payless right now and for people who have them how do they run size wise? Thanks in advance.

While not as good as the original they are comfortable. I have one pair of them and four pairs of crocs. The cros are far superior IMHO.

I have been looking there, but I big foot and cannot find my size (mens size 12 or 13). Thanks though!

To me there was no comparison. The Payless ones did not feel good on my feet at all. I have very sensitive feet and never thought I would be able to wear Crocs. They are wonderful and when I saw the Payless version I thought I would give them a try but I can't even wear them around the house.

Some people swear by their Crocs, I like the Payless ones better myself. And they have tons of cute colors in our stores! Try them for yourself & see what you think, if you get them there you have little to lose!

I like the Payless version best. I'm a size 9.5 and after trying on both types several times, concluded that the sizing in the Croc version would create e blister (by rubbing) on the top left side of my foot so I didn't buy them.

I love the Payless version and wore them all week at WDW, 5 days in Cali (including DL), and another 3 days at WDW. Can't wait to be so comfortable again this summer at WDW!

I couldn't see paying that much for the crocs, so I bought the airwalks at Payless & loved them. Then my mom found some crocs on sale & convinced me to get a pair. I couldn't believe the difference - the crocs are better IMO. I still wear my airwalks, but if I know I'll be on my feet all day - I wear the crocs. A full day at the mall used to end with me barely being able to walk when I wore tennis shoes. I wore the crocs every day at wdw last fall & never had any problems. There were great on the rainy days too.

My sister bought her 7 yr old the payless ones and I can't tell the diff from looking at them.... For a kid, who cares?

We tried both, my girls preferred the Air Walks. They said they were softer. We got everyone in the family outfitted at Payless's buy one get one half off sale! They are super comfy! But the sizing does tend to be "off" from your normal shoe size. I'd recommend buying them in person versus online. I had to buy a child's size 4!

I love my airwalks, and so does my DD. I have tried the real Crocs, but they felt much "firmer" than my Airwalks. For the money, I was able to get two pair of Airwalks in different colors for the same price I would have paid for one pair of Crocs.

I saw similar ones at walmart today. Not my thing, so I didn't look at the price, sorry.

I went ahead and picked up a pair at Payless because I couldn't justify the price difference. I wear women's size 11 which means I rarely buy anything without being able to try it on in person. Well the 11s didn't fit right so I wound up with the only 12 they had. A little different style than the ones posted earlier, but I like them. I've been wearing them around just to get a feel for them before we leave.

I went to Payless today and got some for all 4 of us. I wear a size 9 shoe and the 9's fit perfect. So far for the others, my sons fit great, my daughters are WAY too big. So we're going back tonight to exchange them for a smaller pair. She wears a 3-3 1/2, so I got her 3 1/2-4 size. I believe she'll actually need a 2. There is a good 2 inch gap at the back when she puts them on. Hopefully my husbands fit, if not i'll exchange his tonight too.

I have been wearing the fakes from Walmart for about 6mos now. I am a size 10 and wear the fakes at size 9, perfect fit. I have plantar fasciitis (sp?) and these are so comfortable. Everytime I try on Crocs, at the local paperstore they feel too wide for me, though I just read on their site that is how they should feel. I plan on trying the crocs on again and then maybe ordering from one of the sited w the great sales.
BTW, I developed the plantar fasc. after my trip to wdw last Apr. and then again in Aug. On our return trip this Aug. I will only wear my fakes or crocs.

I felt the same way. When I tried on the crocs I thought they were hard & uncomfortable. After owning the crocs though, they are actually more comfortable. They're less sweaty too. Helps that we only paid $20 for the crocs - I doubt that I'd have spent the $30 for them.

I had orthodics made and wore them for about 6 months, and my planta fascitis (?sp) went away! It is the most painfull thing, espcecially in the morning. I had physical therapy done, and nothing helped like the orthodics!

Thanks Mcaser. I may just give in and go for orthotics. I'm a stubborn ol nurse. Bad patient. pirate:

Hi,

I have both and love both. I definately feel the crocs are a bit firmer and the airwalks squishier (is that a word :) )...the ones in target and walmart feel VERY hard to me,,,,also, last year the summer airwalks and the fall airwalks appear to be sized differently,,,not sure why, but just so you know,,,i LOVE them, but sometimes my big toe goes a bit numb,,,not sure why,,,anyone else have this happen?

:Pinkbounc Just bought the Payless Airwalks. Yes they are "squishy". Wearing them at work today. Reallllllllly comfy. I bought the the pk multi and gr multi. The cashier told me they are coming out w new colors. :Pinkbounc :lmao:
