Payless Car Rental?

DH is on a tear about car rental rates, which I can't seem to get down to a reasonable rate for 6/28 - 7/8. He found a rate at Payless Car Rental that he likes, but I've never heard of them. Anyone ever use them? How was your experience?

My DM and DD used them last june when they went. Both of them said that the only problem was that they did not realise that they needed to call them to have someone pick them up from the airport since they do not have a site at the airport...(DM and DD don't travel much) other than that they really had a good experience...

But I understand your concern with going with a company you haven't heard of before....it would have been hard for me to put my faith in a company that was not mainstream... I guess thats what we get for being such a commericalized society... have fun and happy traveling!

Have you tried Thrifty? Go to www.orlandoinfo.com/magicard. Look for transportation and go to Thrifty. Use the Orlando Magic card discount. Corporate #: 004M001010. I am staying for 8 days and got a Premium rental for $228 for the week. Dont forget to print out a Magic card and take it with you in case they ask. I think Thrifty beat out Alamo this year for the best rental rates for June and July. Also, it could be because your week includes the 4th of July holiday and they may not be allowing weekly discount rates during that time. Anyway, give thrifty a try and let me know how you make out. We have used Payless twice and have had no problems. There is a shuttle that will pick you up and it is only a few minutes away to where you pick up your car.
