Paying with Disney reward dollars?

If I book a package through AAA, can I pay for part of it with my reward dollars? I'm thinking not, but thought someone might know.

I was wondering the same thing. It seems you can save alot from AAA but it won't do me any good if I can't use the rewards.

Worth trying to find out. I just used my Reward dollars and purchased the park passes (5 adults, 3 day passes each) and the DDP (3 days each) for all five us us as well. I was so glad my DH would actually eat a meal with us instead of skipping it just to save a few dollars by claiming he wasn't hungry -- the DDP is such a GREAT convenience and takes off a lot of pressure at mealtimes. I had reserved the DDP with our DVC rooms and just paid for them right at the time we checked in with my Rewards card.

I went to my AAA office today, and you'd think I asked if we could pay with monopoly money! The girl said no, but I'm going back in tomorrow to see our usual agent and ask her to call her Disney AAA number to ask them there.. I did go back and do a search on here and some people have been successful using rewards cards at AAA last year and year before. I showed the girl today that it had a number like a debit card, but she had never heard of using it to pay for a package.

I'll report back tomorrow if I get an answer.

Unless the rules have changed since April 2007, you certainly can! We did. When I asked the AAA agent, she said she didn't know, but as long as Disney said they would take it, we'd be fine. Disney said absolutely, and we used them. I still got the 10% (maybe 15% ) AAA discount. We booked the Magic Your Way package with dining.

If your AAA agent is telling you no, I would check directly with Disney, or get a AAA manager on the phone. We had some other problems with our agent last year, but the manager was able to straighten us out.

My AAA agent told me "yes", yesterday when I spoke with her directly. I had her go ahead and put a package together and I'm going down there today to put down a deposit. I'm glad that you had success with this, pp!!

The final answer is...yes you can pay with reward dollars through AAA! When my agent was applying my downpayment, on her computer screen was an option to "redeem reward dollars" and a pictures of the Disney Visa Reward card. She clicked there and then just typed in the reward card number. Voila!

So, you should be able to do it through any AAA office b/c the option is on their Disney agent website.

Great... thanks for the information. Thank God for those rewards. We renovated a duplex last summer so we are ready to start using those points
