Say for example your Disney trip cost you $3000.....can you pay over that say $4000 and use that extra $1000 as spending money? And what you do not use you get refunded back to your credit card?
You cannot overpay Disney for the trip but like the pp suggested, you can put money on a Disney gift card (can load up to $1k per card) and then use that as your spending money. If staying onsite you can just charge to your MB and then pay the front desk at your resort with a gift card.

I actually have but it was a long time ago. We had credit on our account and they took the first few charges out of that money. I am not sure they allow it anymore and to be honest I don't think it is a great idea anymore. Too many chances for accounting errors or like pp state they send money back eventually.
Thats a good point. Would just rather keep throwing $$$ on my Disney vacation online and have it go over the amount, and then have spending money pre-budgeted. Eh it was an idea. Dumb one perhaps on my part, but whatever lol
I would think if you were going to put $1000 over the cost of your trip on the account, I would opt for a pre paid visa. That way if you don't spend it all, you can spend it at home, after.
