Wow! What a neat idea!

I think I might even take advantage of it to surprise my traveling companion. He's never been to Disney before. (He's never even been on a *plane*!) It would be pretty hilarious to see him get a postcard from Mickey or a Princess.

We'll be in WDW from Saturday, May 5 to Saturday, May 13 and I'm willing to send up to 3 cards to anywhere in North America! (I'm tempted to go overboard and offer to do 300 but that would just be crazy now wouldn't it? )

So, please PM me with (at least) the following:

Name of child (or grown up!)
Address
Message (if any)
Name of character you want to autograph the card (but PLEASE provide me with at least 1 or more back-up just in case!)

Oh, and do I buy the postcards for this myself? (I'm guessing the answer to that is 'yes' but just want to make sure.)

If the answer is indeed 'yes', then I guess you can also tell me your preference for the kind of postcard you want - e.g. do you want a picture of the castle, picture of Epcot, picture of Mickey, etc?

I'll try my best to meet your request(s)!

We (my DS and I ) mailed out more then 125 letters last year, and we are looking to top it this year! Last year we did a letter forma princess or Mickey on really cool stationary, fancy envelope and included some stickers etc. we will do the same this year, so We are leaving Sept 27th ( I know a bit early to plan god mailers) but just giving everyone the heads up

My DD5 recieved a wonderful Tinkerbell postcard from a Fairy Godmailer last month and she was sooo excited. We are leaving in 15 days and now it's out turn to be a fairy Godmailer. My husband and I will be there for spring break with our two teenage boys and two of their friends (first time for these 16 year olds!). I would be happy to send out postcards. We should be able to do about 50 if each of us writes one a day for 7-days so send me a message with your information (Child's name, address, favorite character & alternate). I'll decline if I feel like we can't get to them all. In fact, I think I have some old postcards and will send them ahead of time to the two teenagers who are going with us! This such a great idea.

I know this seems a long time away but there is a local elementary school/library here in a very underprivileged area that requests Christmas cards every year from as many places as possible. These kids would be THRILLED to get a card from Disney - whether it's from a character or even from a family. If anyone's going aroud Dec. could you PM me and I'll get the address for cards to go there. We'd be happy to return the favor when we go to WDW next year.

Need some details - how do you get the postcards signed - do you fill out the info and then have the character sign it? How do you keep your children from seeing this happen so if they get one later or got one before they don't know how it happened? Thanks!
