My DD7 received her card from "Mickey" today. She was so excited, she came straight up to the computer and typed him this letter:

Dear mickey

I got your letter.

Thankyou we mite eat withyou.

Icant whate to go.

I heard it is very fun.

I cant whate to see you.
I cant whate to ride the spinng cups.
We cant go on one ride.
Wevcant ride spacemission!!!

Because it has killed two people!!!!!!!!
MY MOM is scared.

But im not.

That is priceless! You'll have to be sure to keep a copy of that for when she's older.

On a side note, I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one out there with hesitations about letting their kids ride Mission Space. I'm afraid Daddy is going to overrule me on this one, though.

We will be there the week of June 5th thru June 11th. So I know this is really short notice, but I have just recently become addicted to DISboards.

I have one 4 year old boy who LOVES Dinosaurs and a 2 year old girl who LOVES Poohbear.

Ok, I've gotten a LOT of requests for postcards. I'll handle as many as I can, and have replied to the ones that I am able to send to. If anyone else wants to volunteer to send postcards, I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate it!!

It really makes me smile to see all of the magic being spread around. Who would imagine a little postcard could have such an impact on a kid! wow... you all are awesome! I just sent a request for a postcard to my son and I am so excited to see it in the mail! fun fun fun!

I really want to return the favor to a few families. He and I (dad is deployed to the middle east) will be at WDW from Sept 30 - Oct 7. If anyone has a request, I would love to try to honor that.

I just came across this idea, possibly too late to have one sent to my son since we are leaving next week. This is a great idea. I would be happy to send post cards to the children of the first 5 or 6 pms that I get. as with the others just tell me the character, date you are visiting, and your childs name and i would be happy to send out post cards. I will pm the first couple of responses that I am able to accomodate.

The 4 and 7 year-old nieces "FREAKED OUT" (according to my DSis) when they pulled their cards from Cinderella out of the mail box... and rumor has it that the 17 yr old told her boyfriend: "But, John, it's handwritten... it's really from Tink!"

We returned from WDW very late last night. Our flight was delayed over three hours! I sent cards for the following: cinderellacorky, jazznms, RedDawg and SnowWhite607. I hope everyone received their post cards.

One comment for anyone who will be sending cards . . . make sure you check the required postage. Some of the postcards are different sizes and require $0.39 rather than the standard $0.24. It would be disappointing to find out that someone didn't receive a card because there wasn't enough postage on it. Annmarie
