Paying in advance for room only reservation?

We're staying at Cabana Bay, and since we have APs, we book a room-only reservation when we go. This year I need to pay for our room before we get there. Has anyone done this before? I found the CC authorization form on the Loews website and it seems straight forward, I'm curious about actual experiences. Were there any problems at check-in, should I call and talk to someone before I send it, double charges, any advice on making sure it goes smoothly, etc.

I’ve done this. First call the hotel, not the reservations line. The number should be on your confirmation email. They will send you a form to give them permission to charge your card.

How long does it take them to charge your card? I called the hotel, got the form and filled it out but I haven't gotten a receipt saying it was paid or anything and the charge hasn't shown on my card yet. It said it was submitted successfully and I can get a copy of the signed authorization form, just not a receipt. Thanks!

I think it was a couple of days for the email. You can call them.
