paying Hotel stay

how do you guys pay.
I have enough dollars saved to pay cash, do they accept cash ,or do you have to pay by cc

You can pay however you want when you leave. You just need to give a credit card number up front to cover the hotel if you skip out without paying or do any damage.

You have to reserve with a CC. Then when you check in, just tell them you are going to pay cash at the end of your stay. This way they wont run your CC. My DB and DSIL did this last year at the HRH. I always use a rewards CC, but PIF when I get the statement.

Have you thought about using your debit card from your bank? That works too. Then you dont have to carry around all of your vacation funds in your back pocket.

I have been buying dollars since our stay last July as the rate is quite good here in the UK. so i have enough to cover our stay, plus our spending for the 3 weeks. I could pay with my CC but DW would just spend the extra so better of paying the hotel with it.
Damo, read you got a super saver rate for your stay, whats the chance of one coming out for July.

What are your dates and how long are you staying? I've seen a lot of them around lately. I'm wondering if it is a new permanent thing to encourage people to stay longer? I'm only seeing it until April right now, though.

we are staying 3 weeks at the RPR, from July 14th to August 4th.
i have to call the concerige in March/April/ called to see about getting the parking reduced and have to call back then , so they might come up with a new deal then as well
