If we have say 800.00 in disney dollars and want to use this to pay off charges we've made using our key to the world card will we still have to give a CC to open account? I guess what I'm asking is...... Do they charge CC everyday we make purchases or do we just pay it all at the end? Or do we put Disney dollars down on account to open it?

From what I understand - You will need to 'turn on' charging to your card. Now, I'm betting you can apply the disney dollars to your account when you log in. They don't charge your CC until a)you check out or b) you hit your spending limit (different for each hotel type).

So if you don't exceed the $800 you'd never get charged. (on the other hand, I can't imaging accumulating that much Dis$

Here's what we did: I did not want to charge anything to my credit card so we just prepaid our room key with the cash and Disney dollars that we brought with us. I could be wrong, but I don't recall giving them any credit card at check in.

You can use CC, travelers checks, cash, or Disney dollars at check in so you can have room charge available on your room key. You can use any one or any combo of these payment methods to put money on your room key. As another poster noted if you do use a CC your card will only be processed when you reach your limit or the end of your stay [whichever comes first]. If you reach limit before end of stay you may have to go to the front desk and tell them to reload your room key.
