Just paid my 2013 dues with the Disney credit card. I thought that I've read from several posts here on Disboards that you get 0% APR for 6 months on dues payments. However, this was not the case in my statement. I called Chase and they confirmed that DVC dues do not qualify for the 6-month 0% rate, only DVC purchases do. Have the rules changed?

I don't remember ever seeing that as a perk for the Disney Visa and I've be a "Member since Day 1". However, I do recall seeing something like 6 months 0% interest for direct DVC purchases.

I have never found that to be the case. I have always paid my dues with the Disney Visa, and never got the 0% APR. I've received it for direct purchases, though.

If you pay with the premier card, do you get the 2% Disney purchase reward or just the standard 1%?

I was told when I registered for the premier card that paying DVC dues would get the 2 percent rewards.

The 0% for 6 months applies to purchasing a contract directly from Disney, to entice you to add on more points. It has never been an option for dues payment since paying them is mandatory -- no need to offer an incentive.

We received the 2% for paying our dues with the Premier Disney Visa card. We paid them in December and the reward has posted to our Visa account.

Thanks for all the replies! Probably just some incorrect information that I've read then :) no big deal, was just wanting to check on whether it's because something might have changed.
