Paying cash and DDP

Can we purchase the DDP if we are staying at SSR with the members cash discount? TIA

I believe you need to be staying on points in order to get the DDP without buying park tickets. Otherwise, like any WDW resort, one paying cash at a DVC needs to buy the package(room and park tickets) to be able to purchase the DDP. I would check with Member Services though, as this is my impression of the distinctions of the rule. Let us know what they say. It is a great question.

We recently booked a rooom using points at SSR, cash at SSR using the member discount, and then more points at SSR. The reservations were linked and we enjoyed DDP throughout. So yes, I believe that at least in some cases that DDP can be purchased with a member discount cash ressie.

I have 3 linked reservations for Feb...the middle one is the w/e nights on cash. We were able to add the DDP for the whole stay without a problem.
