After finding out the first MNSSHP will be the 15th, we decided to push our trip back from Labor Day week to 9/13-9/19. EasyWDW hasn't released a full park calender for September (just a preliminary one) so I have been going by Touring Plans. The days range between 1-3, and every park I have chosen for my plan has been a 3. I really want to take advantage of these low crowds...would you alter your touring plan to hit all the 1's? Or keep the original plan and not pay as much attention to the crowd calenders? I have been trying to alternate the parks due to early breakfast ressies, etc. but I would hate to visit at such a low crowd time and feel no difference because I chose poor parks! Help!

We go almost every September. (Mid-late). Crowds are low to moderate. I wouldn't worry about it. Stick with your original plan. Skip MK on a Saturday is my only advice. And actually, the week you chose has some of the lowest crowd predictions for the fall! I've been on "1" days and it certainly didn't feel like it and I've got pics of an empty WS in Epcot on a "4" day. It's all guesswork.

Ok thanks! Do you suggest taking advantage of EMH (morning) at MK? I know the general rule is to stay away from those days, but we did it in May and it worked out pretty well...we got a lot done in Fantasyland. We are early risers (usually) and would plan on taking an afternoon break when the heat picks up... So I am curious as to what the 8am EMH would be like in September.

Can't help you there. We avoid morning EMH parks, but I like the evening ones. We usually do the 'rope drop/mid day break/ return' thing.

Ok thanks! If we didn't have young ones, I would love the evening ones! But our girls just can't make it lol

I find myself leery of TP's low numbers for the first 7 days of September leading up to Labour Day. Given that Labour Day is so late this year, it's hard to believe crowds will be quite that low. Nonetheless... that's when I'm going, so fingers crossed.

We are planning to use morning EMHs to take advantage of the low crowds in those first two hours. Then we will have lunch and hop to a less crowded park for the afternoon and evening hours. Not always the most recommended though because most recommended is often the one without nighttime entertainment

Yeah we are debating between doing MK with EMH in the morning, taking a break, then coming back in the eveningg or doing MK on the Friday with the Party (we will be attending the Tuesday party) eating dinner, then leaving and doing the Pirates Fireworks cruise. ugh decisions...
