Paying at Starbucks

I think that you can use Starbucks gift cards in the parks but what about payin with the app on my phone? I'm going to bring some gift cards and would like to add them into my app and not have to carry the actual cards. Thanks!

You can pay with the app no problem!

I use my app to pay all the time at DL. A bonus at the parks: because prices are slightly higher you and the new points system took effect, you reach a free drink really quickly! I think I tried mobile order once but it was not available. That may have changed recently but I do not know.

Can you use an earned reward in the parks or DS? I'm going in 2 weeks and have one.... If so, I may save it!!!

As far as I know, you cannot redeem rewards at the in park locations, but you can earn rewards points (as mentioned previously).

I'm not sure why, but I think I read somewhere that DS doesn't follow the same "rules" as the parks... So maybe they might allow us to use an earned reward....

Yay! Just bought $50 in gift cards using Target gift cards! Love a mocha frappe on a hot day at the parks!

Also wanted to add that although I miss my old tradition of getting a cinnamon roll at the Main Street Bakery pre-Starbucks, I am so glad that Starbucks is at WDW and DLR. I remember all of the drama when they came (and could understand it to some extent), but I enjoyed Starbucks in the MK and AK during our recent trip. And we are now starting family traditions at DCA that involve Starbucks for breakfast every DCA visit.

I'm not sure about WDW but at DL the two Starbucks in the parks will not allow rewards because they are actually Disney owned. The one in Downtown Disney will because it is not doesn't owned. The controversy in ca mostly came because the first Starbucks on property was in DCA which was originally just a California themed park showcasing California. Starbucks is not California (no matter how much Californians love their coffee). A better choice would have been Coffee Bean which started in LA in the 1970's. But Starbucks won the bid.

Back on topic DS Starbucks might take the reward.
