Hi everyone. I'm feeling a bit disillusioned at the moment and I like to visit the Dis for a feel-good-fix. I find the people on here friendly, helpful and kind.
So...in the spirit of 'pay it forward' - what's the nicest thing anyone has ever done for you? Or that you have done for someone else?
I'll start the ball rolling. A relative of mine had a train phobia, so I used to drive him to Salford uni each term from the Midlands. When I was pregnant, I left my purse in Tesco's (with cash, ID, credit cards etc) and a lovely stranger ran after me to give it back.

I also hand out 241 tickets if I have them when queuing for Hatton Country World and our local soft play area. I had one man eye me suspiciously as I think he thought I was some sort of ticket tout.
) and asked if she could come and stay. I was off on maternity leave, my DD (now 17) had only just come home from being in a neo-natal unit 30 miles away after a serious operation the day after she was born and I was still recovering from a caesarian yet I helped out. Luckily, they all patched things up within a week ~ phew!!
