pay for parking if not checked in?

I am planning a weekend trip and will be driving from southern Florida. I am staying onsite but will be going straight to a park without checking in first. Will I need to pay for parking at the park?

If you do online check in, and have a magic band, you will not have to pay for parking. You will tap your magic band and it will show you are staying on resort.

If you have not checked in, either online or in person, of course. How else would they know you were entitled to free parking as a resort guest.
Save your receipt and take it to the Front Desk. I believe they will credit your account

Yes, that's what I was wondering, if there was a way to let them know - (bring a reservation number etc. ) Makes sense about the magic bands and online check-in though, and worse case scenario I will get a receipt.
