pay by date for DDP

going to the world on 8/15-we had DDP in place with our old ressie and didn't have to pay til we got there-fast forward to changing our hotel and was told that we would have to pay now or add DDP later-when is the latest we can add DDP before we arrive?also there are 3 families going down so can each family pay their share separately or do we all have to pay at the same time in 1 phone call?
Never had this issue before now so all help is appreciated

DVC or regular package reservation?

For DVC you must add the plan to the reservation no later than 48 hours before the arrival date and pay in full at the time you add it. They used to take payment at check-in. This has changed as of October 14, 2010. When you changed your reservation it became a new booking made after that date and it is subject to the new rules. If it is DVC and you are the member who made the reservations, you must make the call and pay for the plans, and it's up to you how you get your guests to reimburse you.

For a regular package you must add the DDP no later than 72 hours before the arrival date. If you add it within 45 days of arrival you must pay for it in full at the time you add it. If you add it more than 45 days before arrival, full payment is due at 45 days.
