Oh My Gosh Pat - I can't even imagine!

There have been times when I have been working on designs and walked away from them, when my computer went into standby. After returning to my computer, my computer or software went crazy and I had to shut down without saving. I only lost 2-3 designs at a time and I know how depressed I was. I can't even imagine how you are feeling!

I sure wish there was something I could do to help! By the way, I LOVE the new Tink Pink Breast Cancer Ribbon Design! Absolutely Beautiful!!!!

Is there any clipart in particular you are looking for. Maybe some of us have them in our files and can send them to you.

I know I have a pretty large collection of clipart I have collected from various places. Maybe we can save you some time if you tell us what clipart you want and we can send it to you.

Thanks for the offer, but it seems all my cliparts are gone, even the ones that were "special" and not easy to find....
I am looking around the net now hoping to find all the things I have lost..

I screamed, yelled, cried a bit, and got mad at myself for not double checking.
The moment I clicked the OK button, I saw the D pop up on my screen, but by then it was too late

Like I mentioned, I have a bunch of designs on my photobucket but most are not blank versions so I have to redo a lot of the designs, sigh.
Hope I will finally figure out a way to retrieve the files I have lost, but I am not getting my hopes up too high right now....

You will not believe this but I had a blank tink on my photobucket,so I was able to make the names for you.
thank god my fonts were all saved to disc a few weeks ago or I would have a heck of a time finding all of those again as well....

I have NO computer skills at all, but I do know that almost nothing is ever really gone on a computer. Maybe you could take your hard drive to a computer specialist who does recoveries. Or maybe I am crazy and know nothing.

Anyway, I think you are amazingly talented. And very kind to do so much for all of us less creative folk!

If I download the free Disney fonts then how do I access them because they just show up in my documents file. I am computer illiterate...can you tell.

Also, our child is turning eleven when we cruise on the Magic in October...Could you make me a Birthday design...he likes anything Pirates, Pirates of the Caribbean, Soccer, and Baseball. His name is Taylor!

I can answer the font thing for you. It sounds like you have not "installed them" you need to go to the control panel and then the fonts folder. If you have already unziped the file (if it was zipped) you can drag it into the fonts folder and you should be good to go. I do not think I missed any steps, but if I did I am sure someone will correct me.

Hi again Everyone

Well......
I have some good and some bad news......

Good news first, I was able to recover a whole bunch of designs, and a lot of blank versions as well, so I won't have to redo everything

Bad news......
There are so many things found (about 25 GB) I will have to go through all the files and try to place them again, in the right place in the right folder....

So, I probably won't have a lot of time to design or create for you all...this week.....
It will take me a few days to sort everything out and Hopefully I will be back and designing again really soon., lets hope so.

Thank you for all your sweet words and your help offerings, they are appreciated big time!!
I will come in and check the threads and help out as much as I can everyday, but a lot of time will be spend placing designs and files and cliparts back in place..

I am sure I dont have all of them back, but atleast the majority of the files

anyone want to come help me sort them, there are millions of files


I am so happy to heave most of the files back, I will have to buy an external drive or something cause I soooo do not want this to happen again...

go to http://i-love-disney.com

Look on the right side and you will see a link for disney fonts also a box of Disney snags (clipart). The clipart does not need to be unzipped. They have Cinderella, Mikcey, minnie, waltograph etc.

You can always download a free trial version of Winzip that you can use for 45 days.
