The final full day! Our plans include the morning at MGM where I saw Donald in the open the only time, a character meal and enight, all very good chances on the quest.
We head over to MGM and first stop of course is Rock and Roll for two spins! The crowds appear to be heavy so we head over and fast pass for the Indiana Jones show later in the morning. We walk back and tour the Walt Disney 100 years of magic display. If you have not seen this it is a must do! There are so many interesting items and such history its well worth your time! After this we stopped in a few shops, we were in one and we ran into Disney Daniel and his parents again! What a pleasant surprise, we were all eyeing up some watches. Now off to Indiana Jones, the venue was packed solid!! Despite me jumping up and down no luck being chosen for an extra
From there we ventured over and fast passed star tours and had a little lunch in the middle. After Star Tours we walked around still hunting for Donald, to no avail. We decide to head back for our swim.
Our dinner is again at Gullivers, the characters two Lion king guys RATS!!!!!!! Great American buffet though, I had three pieces of prime rib
Now off to MK for Enight! As we arrive the early Spectromagic is just ending so we grab our bracelets at city hall. DW wanted to do some "different" attractions so we did small world, now she wants to do the mad hatter tea cups. Here is a tip, if you want to be close to the action for fantasy in the sky go by Mad Hatters teacups- very close to where they are firing off the shells Next we backtrack to do Pirates while the second spectro is going on. We walk on Pirates with no wait, come out and run right into the start of Spectromagic as its running counterclockwise for the second parade! I got a great picture of Donald in the Parade, which I may post later when I can load it.
We decide to head to tomorrow land to wait for the crowds to thin for enight and get a coffee in the meantime. A wonderful relaxing ride on TTA, always a favorite of mine! Three times on Buzz, I won all three times Two on Space and over to alien adventure. Once we leave tomarrowland we head over to the Haunted Mansion and Big Thunder! We decide to pass on splash and hunt for the characters by the castle. Lets see there is Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale BUT NO DONALD!!!!!!!! This is not good. My wife consoles me and we visit the Emporium for some last minute gifts for kids and head back. We have an earlier flight so best to head to bed.
All and all a wonderful trip. My disappointment with the missed opportunity with Donald lingers. I have considered the possibility that Mr. Eisner is using that as a tool to keep having me return and return. Our next trip is not until December. I hope to "influence" any one who will listen to me to secure Donald for a photo opportunity at one of the DisCon events. I would hope I could be first in line
