Hello from a past Disney bride . My DH and I will be in WDW during your wedding! I was just looking to see if anyone would be getting married while we were there. I wish you a great trip, good weather, and lots of pixie dust!!

Thanks so much for the pixie dust and for stopping by. I am hoping we don't have any storms on the cruise or on the land when we get back to WDW.

Got a call yesterday from my seamstress and she's done iwth my dress!!!! I am so excited and relieved. I cannot beleive how stressed I was over that. I"ll be picking it up tomorrow after work!!!! WOOHOO, one day til I see my dress again!!!

I laminated all my door signs and put magnets on everything last night! Got to go over the many MANY things to take lists and start making sure I have all that stuff!

I had my seamstress fix a dress for the cruise (not the wedding dress) and I didn't try it on..when I got home it was still too big. My mother had to take it in more the day before we left!

Hi Patty-
Congrats on your upcoming VR. It is going to be so magical that you'll be talking about it for years... I did not know about the disboard when we were planning our VR but I love reading about everyone elses.
I am so excited for the birth of your grand-daughter. I must say that it is the most rewarding experience life has to offer, after the birth of your own children of course. Our grand-daughter is now 6 months old and we are loving every moment that we spend with her...she has so much Disney clothing and stuff already...
I will be praying that the weather is good for you next week at the port and all through your cruise.
BTW-the rainforest spa is awesome...so relaxing...but if you really want some alone time try the razul spa treatment. We did and it was a 'wow factor'!

Can't wait to read more...

Betsy, thanks for the advise. I am planning on taking my shoes and bra with me tomorrow (going to get it as soon as I am done here) since I'll be going right after work!!!

I made this with Cam a couple weeks ago. She has that amazing cricut machine and the disney font and it's so much fun!!!

Ordered these off of ebay (and bought a gold pen to personalize them). Not sure if I should save them for Christmas?

Patty, Hey I have seen those ears before - they are perfect for your VR! Congrats! I love the mickey and minnie cutouts- they look great. I have looked at those machines several times.I can't believe you are so close.....that is really exciting!!!!

9 days!!!!

I cannot believe all this waiting has paid off. We leave next Saturday!!! Only three more work days (after today), yea for holidays!!!! I cannot wait. I picked up my dress. It feels so much better, but STUPID me got make up on the front. I am going to take it to the cleaners to see if they can take care of that right away. Also my seamstress is a smoker (and I knew this, but was NOT thinking when I asked her to do my alterations). My dress has a slight smell (it's been in the bag the entire time), so it may be the bag that smells. I have it hanging in my daughters room (outside of the bag). I'll see if that helps, but hoping if I take it to the cleaners, they can take care of that too.

BUT!!!! I HAVE MY DRESS!!!!! And there is no holes or tears or pulls (like in my dream!!!!! So that's a big thing!
