Pathways Revealed - Part 5: The Epcot Resorts Lake

There is always a lot of discussion on various paths at WDW, such as OKW to DD, BWV to MGM, and BWV to Epcot, etc.

On past trips I used my GPS to measure these paths, and then reported the results here. (See links below)

Now, this has become a regular feature. So, on our most recent trip, I measured some additional paths. Here's the next in the series.

<marquee><b><font size = 4 color=blue><u>Walk around the Epcot Resorts Lake</u></font></b></marquee>

I didn't take any photos (I'm sure all of you are familiar with the area), so here are the numbers:

Starting at the pier in front of the Boardwalk, we walked clockwise around the lake. The entire walk was <b>0.79</b> miles. Or just over 3/4 mile. Here are the breakdown points:

To the archway at the path going to Swan/Dolphin: <b>0.15</b> mile.

To the dock at Beach/Yacht Club: <b>0.35</b> mile.

To the junction with the path going to Epcot International Gateway: <b>0.56</b> mile.

And back to the Boardwalk pier: <b>0.79</b> mile.

You can find the individual distances between any two of the above points using simple arithmetic. (EG Beach/Yacht pier to Epcot path = 0.56 - 0.35 = 0.21 mile)
