The good part of this is, that all the doctors keep saying if you're going to get cancer, this is the one to have. I'd obviously rather there'd be no cancer at all. :(:(

Still no word on the stage or whether it's definitely localized (she needs some MRI's done for that), but that's the up-to-date news as of today.

:( that it actually is cancer, but :D that it is one with such a good prognosis. If you need anything, Steve, let us know.

{{hugs}} and good thoughts.

What Donna S said......

It's the best of the bad :)

Continued good thoughts heading out to you and yours :)

Steve, I am so sorry that it is cancer - I'm glad that it is such a treatable form, but still so sorry that y'all have to go thru all this.
How is Nicole holding up?
I continue to keep a candle burning for you guys, esp. Nicole & keeping loads of healing strength headed her way.....

I say a prayer every day for a full, speedy recovery which I know will happen. Keep your chins up.

I'm sorry that there's any cancer at all. I'm glad and hopeful that the prognosis is positive. Take care. I continue to pray for your wife.

I hope everything turns out fine. Cancer it such a scary word but these days there certainly is a lot of hope!

Hugs to you and Nicole, Steve. I'll continue to keep your family in my thoughts.

My boss had Hodgkins, and has been in remission for 4 years. He was diagnosed at 38, at a more advanced stage. I mentioned that Nicole was going through this, and he said that if she (or you) ever needs to talk to someone with experience he'll be available.

Best of luck to Nicole. I sure hope she's O.K., and it sounds like she will be.

Hang in there, you guys, and think positive. She can (and will) beat this.

Hugs to you and your family, Steve. Know that you all will be in my thoughts and prayers

{{hugs}} and good thoughts to you, your wife, and that cutie pie little man in your siggie.

Echoing the sentiments of everyone else, so sorry that it is Cancer, but if you gotta have it, this is the one to have. I have a good friend who is a great success story from this type of diagnosis. He was diagnosed at age 16 (when we were in HS), went through 1 round (ONLY 1 round) of chemo/radiation, went into remission, and NEVER looked back. We are now 36 so he is 20 years cancer free. Pretty cool stuff.

Please let us know if there is anything we can do.

I too, know someone who was very successfully treated for Hodgkins. The best man at our wedding was diagnosed at 34, and now at 41, he is completely cancer-free. My best wishes and prayers for Nicole's successful treatment. Pease keep us updated.

I am sorry you and Nicole have to deal with cancer and will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Aw...Steve...keeping you,Nicole and your son in my prayers.
Hopefully, all other tests will be the "best" of the bad, also.
((Hugs))

Steve, there truly is a huge difference between Hodgkins and non Hodgkins lymphoma. I am glad it went the way it did, though obviously I am sorry it was not negative. I promise to continue to keep praying for ya'll. Now even though it is harder, you have a beautiful child, and I send a sincere wish for a Merry Christmas!
