I received a 11:00 PAT time, however, I had really wanted to beat the crowds to port and be one of the first checking in to see if there were any upgrades available. Will they allow me to check in the the 10:00 crowd by any chance?
TIA
If you're early for your selected PAT, and the terminal is busy, you won't be allowed to enter. If you're allowed to enter, you can check in. You won't be turned away at check in, it's at the door. And, yes, it sometimes happens that there will be a line waiting to get into the terminal because it's too full inside the building.cross my fingers if I go through the trouble of getting there so early, they won't kick me out for being too early For my PAT. I'd hate to get to the front of the line for checking they tell me to get in the back of the line until it's my time. That would rain on my parade
Super helpful! Thanks so muchIf you're early for your selected PAT, and the terminal is busy, you won't be allowed to enter. If you're allowed to enter, you can check in. I'll also point out that your boarding number that you get at check in is tied to your PAT. Early PAT = lower boarding number; later PAT = higher boarding number.
Piggybacking on this....our PAT time is 12:30. I chose that because we are coming from a Disney resort via DCL transfer. Is that going to be enough time? I don't know what time they pick us up from the resort...thanks!![]()
If you are taking DCL transport, technically you don't need a PAT. You will be allowed to check in whenever you arrive.

Generally, yes, you still receive the same boarding number that's tied to the original PAT. However, there have been reports where the CM checking in changes the boarding number once they see it's a much higher number then is being currently boarded. Not the norm, but it does happen. From what I undersand they will allow you in the terminal when you arrive BUT you boarding # is still tied to tour PAT. Once you check in you will receice a boarding #. The earlier the PAT the lower the boarding #
