can you please give me your expeience on the weather and seas during a Thanksgiving cruise? I have two moderately motion-sickness prone members of my family so the tail end of hurricane season has me a bit worried. We did a 4 day last Dec (7 - 11) and they did fine with their dose of Bonine everyday, in an outside stateroom. We are booking cat 9 this time so we'll be lower on the ship compared to deck 6 in Dec. I admit to feeling a bit queasy off and on on that cruise myself - though the one CM I asked told me it was a pretty smooth sail. The last evening the captain announced a potential for rougher seas and we swayed a bit during dinner
anyhoo -- our other disappointment was the chilly waters at CC that time of the year. The weather was gorgeous to sit out on the beach, but we only swam about 45 mins or so as the water was chilly!
We are bouncing between a 4 day in mid-June or July 3; and the thanksgiving cruise 7 day. What would you choose? lots of opinions please!
