I was checking rates for the onsite resorts. Breakers Express is the cheapest at around $119! Ouch! :(

Breakers Express is more than that if you stay there on Friday and Saturday nights: $149 and $159 respectively.

There might be some DISers traveling solo to RiddleCon who would be willing to share their bargain Days Inn room with you.

Anyone staying at Hotel Breakers ($150) who, like me, didn't call Days Inn IN time????:o

DW and I will be there from the 31st to the 3rd staying at the Days Inn!!! We still need park tickets and are definitely interested in the group rate on those. We are also interested in the lunch and t-shirts and all the fun stuff that is planned!! Can't wait til August!!

Cool GoofyS!!! :) :) :)

Barry, tell ya what. . I can let you have one of the pool lounge chairs for $11 a night. . .

I'll just warn you in advance it might be a bit noisy.. ;)

:teeth:

Hi Goofys! My aunt used to live in Dormont. I am originally from the South Hills, so I have a lot of relatives living near you. Nice to see you at RiddleCon!

Hey Barry, you can sleep in my New Mini Van for only $15 a night...I t is omfortable and the seats all fold down ;)

Hope you find something buddy :)

It took me so long to find this that I thought I would give it a bump.:bounce:

Okay, I admit I'm real late with this...

Has anyone tried Priceline for hotels? I know Nancy and Barry are big PL users so I assume that's not an option? huh?

Otherwise I stick with Nancy's suggestion!

It does sound like fun, though. If there's no problems you can count on us from 7/31 - 8/3.

NancyIL posted this, also, but if you missed out on the lower-priced Day's Inn room, try the Clarion Hotel (has an indoor pool, close to the Day's Inn)..1-800-4CHOICE...they are offering rooms at $80, Triple A rate! :) I booked today, and they hold till 4 p.m. day of arrival, no credit card even needed! :)

Those of you shut out of the Days Inn - book the Clarion Hotel! We need a back up for our pool party if it will be raining and they have an indoor pool!

Ok. Now that I've booked the extra night, where in the heck is that darn schedule of events? I know that it was here somewhere on the CB. I don't want to miss anything. :)

Robin - Priceline has hotels in Sandusky, but I've NEVER seen anyone post their success for summer dates at www.biddingfortravel.com :( When dumpy motels charge over $100 per night during the summer, you know they don't need Priceline's help!

Cool Robin is coming too???? This is quite a party!!!!

I can not wait...this will end up being part of an almost two week trip for the girls and I.

So who is around on the 31st???

We need Ray Sharpton to take charge of the list of attendees. And we need Robin to start pressuring Ray to come on up to Ohio and be part of the fun. How about it Robin? You're going to see Ray at the next Atlanta DISmeet, aren't you? Make sure to tell Ray that we need him on the RiddleCon bandwagon. How are we going to be able to tell the players without a scorecard?

I think I'd love to come but right now it looks like the totals would be.....

Passes for 2 days.... $362.70
Hotel for 2 days..... $521.00
Food for 2.5 days.... $200.00 est.
Gas for travel.... $40

Grand total....$1128.70

OK Guys I love you all and I'd love to see you again...but it just isn't in the budget....
