My school has decided to start going to Grad Bash at Universal for our senior trip. :sad1:
I was looking at the performers at both Grad Nite and Grad Bash and I think the performers are much better at Disney.
So, I was wondering who has performed in the past. If you attened Grad Nite at WDW at any time in your life this thread is for you. Could you post what year you went and who performed.

Thanks! :thumbsup2

I went to Grad Nite way back in 1977. There were three groups that performed - K.C. & the Sunshine Band, Starbuck and Flash Cadillac & the Continental Kids.

I still have my ticket stub - it only cost $9.00! I wonder how much it is now. . . :scratchin

I went in 1986. If I remember correctly Animotion, NuShooz, De Barge (I think), among other one hit wonders. Yep, you assume correctly...the 80's were pretty lame!!

I went to Grad Nite on May 13, 1988. The acts there were RUN DMC, Expose', Club Nouvoe, and Michael Bolton. Had a blast. Sure wish you could go to Grade Nite instead of Universal.

When I went in '87, the only one i remember was Wang Chung...eh.

My friend went in '85, they had Night Ranger.....that would've been cool to see them there.

I went in 85, 87 & 88. The only group I remember is Expose. I had a blast every time though.

I'm sure you'll have fun at Grad Bash!

:scratchin Gosh, in 1995 we had good entertainment... just can't remember who?

I worked Grad Nite in 04- we had Monica & Simple Plan.....there were crowded, but fun at least from a cast members standpoint

I went in 93, 94, 95...
I don't know who played each year, but I remember:

John Secada
Brandy
Tag Team
All for One

I can't think of any others.

Hey you were there when I was. *chuckles* Expose had Cinderella's stage. Clube Nuvoe was near where Buzz Light year is, Run DMC was *scratches head* Or were they where Buzz is :confused3 and Michael Bolton was in Frontier Land.

He was really nice. I ended up taking a couple of girls Photos of of them with him, and when he asked if I wanted one taken with him, I just shook my head and said I'd rather have an autograph. He said just a second and took my program away from me. Came back about 3 minutes later with a t-shirt, the program signed by the band, and then had me take a photo. He told me I was the only one that night to refuse a photo with him.

Truth be told, I really didn't like him as a singer until I heard him in person. *laughs*

You actually remember where they were? I know I am getting old! At least Michael Bolton didn't have girls throwing undergarmets on the stage like the next time I was dragged to see him in concert in college. (wink) I like his music, but that was a little much that time. I had a great time there, as I hope you did. It was a blast.

Mine was poo----

3LW
Tyrese
9 Days

That was in the height of O-Town and I was soooo hoping they would be there! :cloud9:

Hahaha, DF went in 1999.... Britney Spears was there. I am sooo jealous! :guilty:

ETA: I went in 2001

Another Class of '88, here.

Yeah - Michael Bolton was definitely in FrontierLand.

DH was Class of '84, and he says he remembers Night Ranger and Weird Al...

Yup I remember where they were, and Pooh was our Mascot. We got to pose with our plushie and it was against a pink background... *laughs* I remember a lot about the night. I did have a good time, as I tended to walk around alone and not with a clique, so I got to ride a lot of the coasters by myself. :lmao:

1985 - Night Ranger was there (as someone else already said), Animotion and Chaka Kahn (I think!).

I went to the Valentine's Party Nite too, so I may be getting them mixed up :-) At VP, I know Gloria Estafan and the Miami Sound Machine were there.
