Nothing is set in stone yet, but we have a Reds/Astros game both days at 1:15 and several people mentioned Argosy Casino and possibly the first ever SHEP-con...

I still havent gotten any responses about anyone wanting to stay at the casino. I will probably need to make reservations by the end of June in order to get a room.

If anyone is planning on staying at the Argosy Casino let me know so I can get the best possible price for everyone

Do we have a post from the CB to here??? I promise to help keep it bumped for all to see. I know you all aren't too far from Columbus or Dayton and I haven't seen some people from that area haven't posted one way or another at all and I am sure they don't venture this way much so a link might help them to see it

Just sneaking in.......DH is off that weekend (Friday, too) so we are considering the possibility of driving into Cincy even though it would be about 10 hrs. or so for us. We would at least have all day Sat. available to "play"! Will let you know for sure as we get closer. Did anyone ever get a deal on a place to stay locally??

Oh yeah?? As long as it isn't Motel 6 or something similar, I'm pretty game! I think Dave has been checking out Orbitz, I'll let you know what he comes up with.

So, is it just gonna be the Reds game or are there any other plans in the works? Ya know--like a pizza gathering Friday nite or a breakfast meet on Sat. or Sun.?? Dave enjoys baseball, but personally, I can do without. But I'd love to meet some of you guys in my old hometown!! Is Hattie the Witch gonna be there???

OH!!!! And Mary Jo, I would love to see Simba! Too bad I'll have to do it from across the room/parking lot/whatever--allergic to cats BIG TIME!!! But he's soooooo adorable in his pix!!!

I won't be able to make it to this meet after all, but if I were coming - I'd get a nice hotel from Priceline.
