Ok, ya'll sign in if you can or might be able to come on saturday.
Also, could you write down about what time you will be getting to Indy so I can figure out when to set up meeting places.


I'm sorry to say I won't be finished with the home improvements before you get here, so I'd die of embarrassment if any of you saw it. I had planned on being done. But this is the first time I've ever done most of what I'm trying to do and it's a learning experience. lol

So, where would you all like to meet before we go to the zoo, or do you just want to meet there saturday.
Afterwards, we will meet at Fridays, downtown. I'll find the address and post it soon.

I can't wait to meet everyone on Saturday. Because I live close to Indy, depending on the times I may be able to meet with people on Friday and Sunday. I will be gone all of next week, so I will check back to get the times and meeting places.

Dan Murphy told me about this meet and depending on DS's asthma (recently flared up worse than ever) - we will also join you.

We are not native Hoosiers, but have lived here since 1984.

I've got another idea for meeting at the downtown mall and doing stuff and maybe seeing a movie. Which would you rather do?

Mall works for me... it is very 'weather friendly' Also easier to find food. Movie would be optional to me and probably not needed to take up time (knowing the way we DISers seem to chat away) but wouldn't mind doing that either (especially if it is Finding Nemo )

I love the idea of the mall. There is a lot to see and do downtown. We are leaving for the world and will check back when we get back. I am really looking forward to meeting everyone!

I do so agree. And since he is going to be married, we like the time to get to know our future daughter-in-law. They are both working a lot of hours plus she has one more year to complete her education (IU).

Should they change their plans, we will be with you in Indy - DEFINITELY!
Always nice to put a face to a name, it's been one of the most wonderful things we have done since starting our cruising back in 2001!!

Michael has been very ill (asthma) so if you don't see him around the neighborhood (by the way, Claudia1 and I are neighbors) it's due to that. He didn't even go out to see Dr. Z as he was walking his dogs!! Now that is sick since Dr. Z is his "buddy".

We've had one EMT visit and two ER trips since Thursday - but he is still planning to go ride his horse, go figure!

Just out of curiosity, do we have a meeting time for this yet? It is about a 2 1/2 hour drive for me, but you all are an hour behind so any time should be doable. Just need to warn my DH

Well, I just got back and it was a great meet. Rae and her too cute kids, (i'm sorry, I forgot their names) , Dan, Helenabear, Coqui, Claudia, her daughter and grandaughter and me.

It was fun. The comedy show was interesting. It was along the same lines as Who's Line, with audience participation. In the last segment Coqui was elected to go up there. He volunteered, but I was sort of pushing him up there when he did. lol He did great improv.

We walked around and then saw Nemo, it is an adorable movie, you should go see it if you haven't all ready.

We ate at Johnny Rockets instead of Jillians and it was really good.
Everyone was pretty tired by that point so we called it a night. I'm looking forward to tomorrow at the zoo.

Sorry I was not at the meet, folks!

I don't know who you met with children but it wasn't me!!!!! My daughter passed away 9 years ago; my oldest son is 23 and the only one with me and DH is Michael (8).

I thought we were going to make it down there but we had a change of plans.

You'd better ask the woman and the children who they are!!!!
I don't think we were cloned and Kayla resurrected!
