DH finally went into the Passport Office this morning. He was there 2 hours, start to finish, and they said they would actually arrive within their 10-business-day guideline, which is impressive! He did also note there was not even a snack machine in sight--good thing he'd loaded up on coffee before heading in!

Will passports make the border crossing experience easier than just photo ID? (not that we've had a problem with ID yet) We are actually driving across the border, and then flying out of Seattle.

Still can't wait!

We've never had a passport and our border crossings could never get easier than they already are. I think our last cross was a matter of 15 seconds. With both pieces of I.D. now you should have smooth sailing.

We always cross the Peace Arch with our passports and it is always smooth, and then at the airport the are great ID. It should be a piece of cake....:)
