I have gotten this book in the past and loved it!!!We will prolly be going to WDW late this year or early next year.I THINK that it gets published sometime in March and hits stores after that.AM i right?anyway,,that will prolly be too late for our trip...so I guess i may as well just buy the 2005 edtion.Whats the diff between the deluxe editon and the other?thanks!!!!

The deluxe, if I'm not too confused, is the leather bound edition. I prefer the spiral bound edition with the pockets. You can see the different editions and when the expected publish/ship dates are for them at the passporter.com site.

I´ve bought the spiral edition and I´m really loving it. All my vacation planing are going very smooth with it´s help, and by the time my trip is over I will have a great keepsake. The are updates avalable for download on the passporter site: http://www.passporter.com/wdw/bookupdates.htm

I bought the deluxe edition and love it because i can take out the info on resorts we arent staying at and add my own stuff. I also like the pockets because i can take each days pocket out and carry it with me to the parks. The deluxe is a little more expensive but you do get a reduced rate on the next years refills

The first one I bought was the spiral edition. But the following year I bought the deluxe edition. I love it because we keep everything in it. That is where our AP's stay. Once I start planning a trip all paperwork goes into the book. When we get to WDW we put maps of the parks in the pockets for the day that we visited that park. Plus any other things we get, (PI wristbands etc) go into the respective pocket.

If we do more than one trip in a year, I take the used pockets out and replace them with unused ones for the new trip. Then each year I just buy the refill instead of a whole new spiral edition, since the deluxe is a 3-ring binder.

Once I have purchased the new version, I take the old one out, tie it together, with all the pockets and put it away. When I get ready to do my scrapbook, I know where to find everything to add to the pictures.

I also love my Passporter. I take it everywhere that I am stuck being "Mom" while the kids swim, take lessons, etc. I love how Jennifer and Dave write. I feel like i know them! The book really reflects the love they have for WDW.

I also bought the "regular" edition first then upgraded to the deluxe. The Deluxe is so cool because it is a looseleaf and you can order just the text when it comes out the new year, with the new info. You can pull out the old pockets and put new ones in. I love Passporter!

I ordered both deluxe versions for WDW and the Cruise line. I am enjoying reading both of them.

I love the deluxe version. If you buy it, each year after that, you only have to buy the refill kits. I like that you can add things, take away things, and customize it to suit yourself and your trip.

Because Disney changes so often (boy..that's an understatement :rotfl: ) the Passporter is usually the most up to date Disney info in print because they wait and gather info longer than the other books do. For example, the 2005 UG hit the shelves in the Fall of 2004. The 2005 Passporter started shipping in January of 2005. The 2006 edition should also ship in January 2006 so which you buy will depend on how early your trip is if it ends up being in early 2006.

If you get the 2005 edition, go to the website and print out the updated pages for 2005. All the ticket info is wrong in all the 2005 guidebooks with the release of MYW in January, but it's all updated on the Passporter website and is formatted to download and add to your book (which is really easy to do if you have the deluxe version). They even have extra download pages for diff kinds of things for the deluxe version.

If you have a past version of Passporter, go to the website and register it. They will e-mail you a discount coupon for your next edition. Also, doublecheck prices online. Last year I got my Deluxe version from Walmart.com for less than I could have ordered direct from Passporter...even with the discount coupon. :goodvibes

Hope this helps!
