Is the Passporter updated yearly, or should I purchase the 2006 now for my trip in 2007.

I believe it is updated yearly like Unoffical Guide. I think they usually come out in the fall for the following year.

Today I saw a 2007 version of the Passporter on Amazon.com, but I'm not sure if it was available for shipping now or just for pre-orders.

It said the publication date was November 2006. But you can pre-order it.

It is updated yearly and is usally ready by November for the next year. You can go to their Web site and pre-order it. They have a spiral version and a Deluxe Version( this version lets you replace pages and updated them with new ones from their web site.

My 2006 edition says "Expanded for use through 2007", although it won't have info about the new Year of a Million Dreams celebration beginning in October or things like that.
