Hi...

Trying to decide between the passport slingshot and the crumpler 4 million. I'll have a diaper bag for things for the kids, so it's mostly a bag for just me with space for my cell and that's it.

I have a Canon 60d with 17-55 lens attatched. Not looking for a ton of room, but a place to put the camera when I don't want it when it's not in use (ie lunch, certain rides, etc). I'd probrably hang it off the stroller while I'm using the camera. When I need to store it (and depending on what we are doing), either carry it or leave it on the stroller.

I'm thinking I'd need to make it one large compartment and put the camera w/lens attached sideways, no matter which bag I choose.

My main priority is lightweight and easily accessable since I'll be wrestling with 4 kids under 10, a stroller and the husband. :)

I'm planning on getting a crossbody strap for the camera it's too for when it's in use since this set up is very heavy for me (leaning towards the op/tech utility)

Thanks! Jen

While i dont have the 4 million dollar home i do have the 5 and 6 versions.

The 5 can fit my t2i w/17-50 2.8, 10-20 and 70-200 IS F/4. I would think the 4 would be a good size if all you want is the 60d and 17-55. It prob will not fit much else.

Agreed. I have the $6 Million & $7 Million. Couldn't imagine having something as small as the $4 Million for my needs, but it sounds like it should do what you want.

The Crumpler bags are well-made and don't scream "Camera Bag." If anything, they scream "Diaper Bag", which makes it less likely a person should want to steal one for fear of finding used contents.

Now there's a good selling point for the Crumpler :lmao:

I'm not a fan of sling style bags because with uneven weight distribution if you're walking around all day. I just find them very uncomfortable. Personal preferences of course, and not really an issue if you don't have much gear in there, but something to consider.

Crumpler's $4M bag is the one I carry. I used to carry a Canon Rebel Xsi with 24-105, it was about all the bag could hold. The camera was only in the bag for travel, when I got where I was going the camera came out and lenses went in, usually 10-22 and 70-200 (f/4).

A $4M is going to be snug for your 60D with 17-55.
