Is this for a child passport or adult? In both cases, the answer is yes ... but if it’s a child passport, he can’t be the parent filling out the application form. You can fill the form, he can be guarantor.

@amw yes I am the applicant. I just wanted to make sure I read the instructions correctly. It's not too often the Govt makes things easy for us LOL

Me too, which is why I've always done it in person. The next passport in our family to be renewed is our oldest daughter (currently 12), hers expires I think April or May of 2022 so we have some time.

So they called me as my sons guarantor and then spoke with him as well. Asked some questions .. I needed my date of issue on mine and expiry date , he needed to say where he was last year ( school etc )
Bizarre as credit card was already charged , if they didn’t like our answered would they credit us back ?
