Can you use a passport card to sail with DCL? We have our passports, but another guest was asking about the card?

On a closed-loop cruise that leaves from and returns to the same US port, a passport card will work (as will a US birth certificate). However, as PrincessShmoo said, the card will not be sufficient if someone needs to fly back to the US from another country.

We just recently used our passport cards when we sailed on the Wish in November. We had no issues with it.

I agree with what others have said. You could use it as a valid form of ID, but if something goes horribly wrong and you need to fly home from a place outside the US (with the possible exceptions of Canada and Mexico), the passport card will not allow you to board a plane.

If the cruise starts and ends in the US, yes. If you need to fly to another country, no.

You can use it on a closed-loop cruise, *but* you must use the same document to check in that you are going to use on the ship itself to board/debark. You can't check in with a passport beforehand and then give your passport card at the port. (Same goes for any other combination of documents.)
