Has anyone ever passed out/blacked out/fainted?
Or have you ever seen someone pass out?

---------------

About 2 weeks ago,at 2am I had to 'use the facilities'. I woke my mom up, she brought the comode I have to use as I can't make it to the bathroom, and I went.
I was in flannel jammies, and was a little overheated. I started feeling dizzy and light-headed, got really hot, my vision was getting blurry and I was 'seeing stars' but it actually looked like snow, if that makes sense.
My mom was in the room next door using the bathroom...and all I said was 'Ma I feel really hot'.
Next thing I knew everything went black...and then I woke to my mom yelling 'Sonya...Wake up...Are you there Can you hear me?'. I felt weak, I was laying on the floor and my mom was lifting me onto my bed. I asked what happened, and she told me I passed out..fell onto the floor...but the whole time my eyes were open so she thought I was just messing around.

It's happened 2 times since, including today at the Ortho office.
Freaks me out everytime, and I was wondering if this happened to anyone else?

I always feel like passing out during basketball. I get really dizzy and I start seeing this rainbow type thing(please dont make fun of me for it). It usually happens for about 5 seconds. It sometime happens when I lay down for a while then I get up.

I've never totally passed out or fainted. But often when I'm walking around I'll black out and have to hold onto a wall. It's because when it happens I haven't been eating enough salt (that's what my doctor said). If it starts happening a lot, I eat a pack of Ramen Noodles and I'm good for 2-3 weeks, that stuff is so packed with salt!

Other than that, just whenever I get up from sitting down for over an hour or when getting out of bed. But that's just something a lot of tall thin people get.

But that must be really very scary for you. I know how scared I get when I black out. I couldn't imagine fainting!

I once had a really weird cough attack where I got really light headed and passed out. It crashed into the lockers and then collapsed. Cool bruise.

When I was 8 or 9 I went with my dad to the hospital to see one of his coworkers. He had gotten his finger cut off in one of the presses at his work. While we were in his room I just fainted, lmao. I'm REALLY squeamish.

Another time was more recently. My driver's ed class had a presentation about organ donation, and the man doing the presentation was the head surgeon of organ donation or whatever, so sometimes he really went into detail. Well, as I said before, I'm really squeamish, so I was getting really grossed out or whatever. I didn't faint, but I came really close, lmao. I had to try really hard to think about other stuff. :p

I black out sometimes when I sit for a while, then get up really quickly. A perk to being tall, I suppose.

I've seen people pass out from the heat at an outdoor concert I went to this summer. It was 85+ degrees and people were drinking a lot of alcohol and passing out left and right. One guy actually fell on my friend's boyfriend and started having a seizure. It was so scary. He was gray-faced, shaking, and drooling.

Yes. In front of the refrigerator.

I had been sick with the stomach bug for a couple days, and had been incredibly dizzy. (Ex: Any sudden movements just made my head spin like crazy) I went to the fridge to get some soda because my mom had went to the store (she was almost home). Anyways, I got this really weird feeling in my head, everything got blurry, and poof. Next thing I know my mom's basically screaming my name and I'm on the floor covered in Diet Dr. Pepper. No lie.

Anyway, that's the only time I think. When I have migraines I'll usually feel a bit dizzy but it passes over time.

 That really sucks Sonya, I hope it doesn't last for very long!

That's what happens to me but I'm short.
I haven't fainted or anything but I got really dizzy and fell over.
Usually it's if I sit in the same spot without moving for 2 hours or so then hurry and stand up.

 I'm sorry.

At Church I get lightheaded...dizzy.. my vision becomes blurry.. and I cannot hear a thing.. I become hot.. then cold.. then hot again. It's weird.
 Good luck Sonya! Stay strong!

I've never fainted or blacked out but I've come close.

I was on my way to Church to alter serve and I was running late so my mom went the shorter way. Then there were some kids walking a dog and another dog from across the street ran through 4 lanes of traffic, because it wasn't tied up, to go see the other dog. Well needless to say my mom hit it. We stayed with it for a while and the family that owned it came over to see if it was okay blah blah blah. Then later I was at church on the alter and everyone was getting communion and I was kneeling and all of a sudden I get really dizzy and realize that it's time for me to get up and help the priest and I almost fall over. My mom had to come get me off the alter. That was embarrassing. The shock had come to me like 30 minutes later.

usally when I get out of bed in the morning I get really dizzy and my head starts spinning and everything starts blacking out, then I just stop walking and like hold on to the wall for a minute to not fall down. again, I guess a tall person thing.
but other then that I've never officially fainted or passed out.

OT: I thought I was the only person that the ' the facilities'! my friends always make fun of me when I say that.

Nahhh...
I just get dizzy when I lie in my bed in the morning and then get up all of a sudden.
My mom says its because the blood is rushing down from your head or something =/

I have, once. I was getting in trouble, something i don't handle very well, overheated, and then it was black.

I come very close whenever I don't eat enough. I lose my balance and just can't feel my body, and i see like a fuzzy black tv screen. Most of the time I stay conscious, but it's always close.

My best friend faints ALL THE TIME. She has seizures too. Its due to a high anxiety level. She faints if she sees blood too.

I've only ever passed out when I havent eaten in a while, am sick, have my period, see blood or have a panic attack :P The worst was last Christmas vacation I got up to go to the bathroom, and when I was walking back to my room I started feeling dizzy and lightheaded and went to steady myself on the banister. Well I must've passed out before I made it cause I fell and apparently hit my head on the banister and my mom heard the bang and found me. I don't remember any of it, but I remember the trip to the emergency room lol I've fainted so many times that its not a big deal to me anymore.

I've never passed out, but I always black out momentarily when I stand up too fast.

I almost fainted once at the hospital. My dad did something to his elbow..I forget what it's called but he like poppe it out. Well he had to get an IV and I was dumb and watched and he made this weird face and I started to get really dizzy and it went all like white. Kinda like clouds. But yeah.

My brother passed out in Disney. He locked his knees while we were at the Flights of Wonder pre-show. He like fell over and his nose/mouth started bleeding and he was shaking like he was having a seizure..very scary.

Then my friend passed out in 1st grade when we were reading "Great Body Shop" it went into detail...bad LOL.

ya i sorta did one time. I came home from disney on the sunday before i went back to school. we got home at like 9, so i didnt eat. i went to bed. and then in the morning, i got up very late, so i didnt have time to eat breakfast. when I dont eat breakfast, I get lightheaded. I get low blood sugar. So wen i was in gym (it was outside, and it was so hot) i was lightheaded. So i sorta fell over kind of, so my friend and my gym teacher sorta carried me to the nurses. My hearing went. I couldnt hear anything. It was scary. But I got to miss Science (:

I ALWAYS get light headed.

i got knee surgery this year. ten days later i was able to do sports (not as hard as i liked) but i could actually play. about five-six weeks later, i was with my personal trainer and we were talking about the nice big swollen knee i had. he had had the same surgery and was telling me how his knee never swelled that much and how they're might be something wrong. so i went to the doctor and he was like goodness that's a big knee (well not in those words) and finally decided that he'd drain my knee. that was probably the most uncomfortable thing of my life. and my doctor is freaking moving the needle in my knee and i'm sitting there like holy crap this hurts more than anything. and so finally he's done (getting 50 cc's drained out of my knee) and we're standing in the hallway getting a doctor's note when all of a sudden i started feeling bad. i felt light headed and got blurry vision. i was leaning down and my mom's like are you okay? and i'm like uhhhhh i don't think so. so then i'm going back to the room and all i hear my doctor say is right in here...and i'm gone. and then i had this weird dream how my doctor was doing something? idk i just remember that it felt like i had been asleep for hours and hours and then i had to lay on the floor and drink water slowly with this nice nurse lady telling me about the 7 million times she's fainted.

it was quite exciting.
that is the first (and hopefully the last) time i'll ever have to faint.
