Surfing around on the internet yesterday I saw something about AP discounts up to 40% off for HH & VB. We're going to HH next week and have several nights on points and two nights on the member discount. I'm thinking that if the 40% is possible for our dates - that will be better than the member discount. However, I've been trying to check the passholder site and am having no luck. I've got my AP and I'm typing in everything correctly(I think) and it says it's not correct. Anyone else tried to get on the passholder site and encountered problems?

I'm not sure, but the discount you're referring to MAY be the Disney VISA card discount. That's the one we used at HHI for NOvember (it expires around 11/23). And fortunately, I haven't encountered any problems on the passholders' site.

The info is on the AP site, here is what is has at HHI.

Thanks BillPA! That's what we reserved-the $66 + tax. I thought they said I had to use the VISA card, but since I have both that and an AP, I must have been confused (Who me? Confused?)

I changed our two cash nights with the DVC discount to two nights with the passholder discount. We have a 2BR - it saved us about $60. If I have to change rooms or anything because of that - it won't have been worth the trouble, but $60 is $60. When I reserved, they asked me if I'd like to put it on my Disney Visa - so maybe that's a "standard question" now!

I called MS yesterday to cancel my members discount cash night and the CM was very nice and didn't seem to mind at all canceling since I was saving a buck. She even noted on our reservation that we had two nights on the passholder rate. She said they couldn't "link" the reservation, but she would do her best to make sure they were aware of it. The phone call I made to make the reservation using the passholder discount encouraged me to call the resort to make sure they knew it was all a continuous reservation. I don't know if I do on-line registration - if there is a comment section where I could just take care of that on line.

Hopefully all of this will work out for us.
