Ok,

I have been looking around and doing some reading. But, I can not find a firm answer.

We are headed out for our first stay and we are split on getting passes before we leave or at the desk.

Can anyone tell us their experiences with this.

What kind are you going to get? If you are getting hoppers, you can get them at a lower rate with that advanced purchase price at the Disney Store rather than later when you arrive.

We were talking about ultimate hoppers.

But. The length of stays are always great also..

the ultimate pass hoppers are the length of stay - they just changed the name

why?

do you need to go to Disney Quest every night?

if not I would get a park hopper - any days not used are good forever - the ultimate (or length of stay) are gone...

DisneyQuest and Pleasure Island are an important option.

if you are wanting the unlimited pass hoppers then you have to wait - your 10% discount DVC is only good at check-in.
