$89 may not be overpriced at all. Depends upon how much it was loaded. Figure that if it had 2013 points that were banked and 2014 points current then it would have 100 points. If you were to rent that many points you'd spend $1500 or $30pp for a 50 pt contract. making the remainder of the contract cost only $59 pp. That's not so bad. If it only had the 2014 points then you're at $74 pp for the remainder of the contract which is certainly going rate.

Thanks, but I've been checking it obsessively for a week! The closing date was 31st January so if it's not on the comptroller website by the end of this week I'll email the title company.
