Are you allowed to gift points to your children? If I were to sell them at a dirt cheap price it would not pass rofr. I am thinking about purchasing, but that would be a very big issue to me. I can't see myself using these points every year when I get older and the kids are out of the house. If I am able to gift them, that would be great.

Thanks in advance!

Yes, your DVC membership may be passed along to family members. It will still need to be passed thru ROFR, but that is usually a formality for immediate family.

DVC contracts can also be placed in a will as part of an estate.

You should have to problem doing what you wish with your points.

Enjoy!

or just put them on your deed when you buy. this will give them all the rights that you have. Buying Annual Passes and other perks, plus it will be a LEGACY you leave :cool1: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc them

Which you can do only if they are adults. And the DVC contract would become part of their assets as well and at risk with any financial issues.

You can not split a contract. So if you have 2 kids, you might not want to buy 300 points in one contract. Buy 2 - 150 point contracts so you can leave 150 points to each.
