This was my first venture with heat transfer vinyl! It was also my first vector that I created! Can't wait to wear this at WDW next week!

Totally Awesome!! Where did you get the vinyl you used?

I got it online from expressions vinyl. I used siser easyweed vinyl, used my silhouette cameo to cut it out and then ironed it on! Maybe one day I'll get a heat press to make the job faster!

Heat vinyl is our next undertaking. Did you layer Pascal with black down first?

I did do the black outline first, slightly thicker than the original so it would fill in the gaps, but not overlay the vinyl in a large area...I wanted to to adhere to the shirt the best it could. Then it created the stencil for placing the other colors...I did them one at a time.

Can I totally step in and ask a few questions? I love making t-shirts for fun, so this totally caught my attention.

Do you need any special tools to do this? Did you learn through a book or tutorials online?

So far, I just hand-paint any t-shirt designs I like to do, but vinyl would be amazing touches to some of the stuff... :wizard:

I used my silhouette cameo machine to cut out the vinyl, then used a weeding tool to pull off the parts I didn't need. I just searched on youtube and pinterest for tutorials to help me figure out how to do it!

Thanks! I took the plunge and bought some iron on vinyl from Amazon. Hunted online for tutorials, now all I need is an xacto knife and a new iron, and I'll be GTG! Never would have thought about this had I not stumbled upon your stuff, so a huge THANK YOU for helping spread some Disney creative cheer around!

By the way, Pascal looks super cute. I bet he'd be perfect on a plum t-shirt. :)

Yay! Good luck and we would love to see the final product!
