We just found out that my bil, sil, and 2 dn are going to join us on our June vacation. I need to re-think my ADR's. Any suggestions for fun with a large party?

We will have 8 at some of our ADRs and one place I'm booking is 'Ohana. I've wanted to eat there for a while and it seems very festive!

Another place that is very fun is Raglan Road if you go for dinner in time to hear the band.

Thre will be 9 of us on our up-coming trip and I also made ADRs for Ohana for dinner and breakfast! One other one that I thought would be nice as a group that we are going to, is Teppan Edo.

We had a great meal last year at The Cape May Cafe with 10 for dinner. We started off with coctails and buckets of clams. They are able to accomodate large groups and the buffet was quite good.

The Biergarten at Germany can be fun for large groups. Just don't go to Rainforest Cafe. We went there with a group of nine and were seated at a table for six, with the tables next to ours practically on top of us. In order for anybody to leave the table, the whole row would have to stand up. After we complained we got them to move the next table over to us after that group left, but I definitely would not go there with a large groups again.

Are you all staying on property? With nine, you're a grand gathering. Grand Gathering staff can help you get those ADR's and do better at keeping you all together. There is a wonderful round table at the Cali Grill...

We had 11 the last time we went and here are the places that we ate at and all sat together. Teppan Edo, Chef Mickey's, Boma, Olivia's, Whispering Canyon. They said we might not get seated together but we did at every place. The food was good at all the above places. No complaints from any of the adults or kids.

How hard is it to get ADRs for 9? With Grand Gatherings, do they have a separate ADR line or does a typical CM in ADR do it?

I've done a couple of trips with a large group and the ADRs that topped the list were
1.Ohana's breakfast everyone LOVED this one, and a LOT still talk about it
2. Biergarten
3. 50's Prime time. this one was a lot of fun b/c there were enough to play along that the ones who didn't want still had fun laughing at the others

Is it hard to get adr's for large groups during free dining? is it best to split you party? we will have 9 also.
