Party of 9, 3 generations, from LA to FL... let's geaux!...COMPLETE

Since I have been buying things for Disney for some time now and have taken up a shelf in the pantry, 2 shelves in my closet, countless bags stashed in nooks, and a large portion of my trunk I decided it was time to really know what I have.

I actually took the time to make a list of all the food and beverage items I have...

6 Pack XL Smart Water
24 Pack Large Lemon-Lime Gator Ade
10 Pack Fruit Punch Coolers
10 Pack Berry Water Coolers
8 Pack Apple Juice
12 Pack Berry Propel

12 Pack Small Lemon-Lime Gator Ade
12 Pack Small Fruit Punch Gator Ade
12 Pack Small Glacier Blue Gator Ade
10 Large Smart Water
12 Large Zephyrhills Water
20 Pouches Cran-Grape Water Flavor

1 Box Cars Cheez-Its

2 Cars Mac & Cheese Microwave Cups (hotel microwave)
1 Box Fruity Pebbles Cereal Bars
1 Box Cars Cereal
24 Chewy Chocolate Chip Granola Bars
24 Oatmeal Raisin Granola Bars

Crazy right? 7-9 people for 8 days though it really doesn't turn out to be that much. Still it will help a lot to cut down snack and drink cost. Even on the dining plan 7 people for 8 days needing drinks and snacks can add up.

In other news, we have updated our van rental reservation to something almost $100 cheaper than the original and I get to pick it up at the airport. So helpful! :thumbsup2

Jen and I will do all the van paperwork before their flight comes in so we can skip ME all together! So friendly! It will also be nice to skip ME on the return flight and we can turn the van in when we take them to the airport.

We are still going to head to the hotel to check-in and try to make sure we get rooms close to each other if not right next to each other. We will also use the hotel bathroom to let everyone change into their suits and head for the beach! :cheer2:

53 days! So. Ready. :dance3:

The good:

34 more days! :dance3: :woohoo: :yay: :cool1:

My birthday was lovely. I am getting a treadmill for my birthday that I asked for. Working from home has allowed me to gain a lot of weight over this past year and this hot FL weather does not encourage me to go walking outside. :thumbsup2

The bad:

Pierce started a GREAT new school for Kindergarten. His first day is nexxt week I believe. We are very excited he got in because its so much better than his district school and it means Hallise will get in automatically. :cutie:

The downfall is Trista just went to orientation and was told they do not allow more than 5 missed days (unexcused) for the school year. She spoke to his teacher who didn't mind at all, but the admistration did mind. With this trip he will be missing 6... :sad2: I thought of this before hand and in checking with the school board for his parish it says they allow up to 10... so we didn't see this one coming. Pierce will now have to go get a doctor's note for at least one if not more days missed. This is not a problem just an inconvenience. :headache:

The other bad is I apparently still have no readers on this thing. :confused3 Oh well. I shall continue anyway... it is somewhat calming for myself. I swear I check dining reservation ability and analyze my spreadsheets daily. :rolleyes1

The Disney:

There were some hour updates since I last checked and our first Hollywood Studios night now has EMH til 1 am! Yay! I am hoping with 2 F! shows that night we will have an easy time with ride waits.

I have been making Hallise a TON of bows. I decided to attempt the infamous Disney princess bows... I didn't think I did too bad. Especially for my first try right? I attempted Belle first:

Hallise is turning 3 next week and loves her some Buzz. She is having a Toy Story party. It is super hard to find anything girly that is Toy Story except for Jessie stuff. So I made her a blinged our Buzz hoodie. The front if all ruffley and cute but I didn't think to snap a picture of the front. Here is the jeweled Buzz though:

I read you pre-trip! I believe I am you number one fan! :disrocks:Great job on the Buzz jacket, everyone was very impressed. We are expecting an awesome trip, thanks to Tarah :grouphug:for her diligence.

15 DAYS!!!:cheer2:We are all so excited, as my retired Navy husband says,"I have channel fever." :boat:This is what the sailors say when they are coming home and going thru the channel to get to the pier....almost there but not quite. I have been slacking in my movie watching, really need to get on the ball.:hourglass running out of time. It has taken forever to get here and I just know it will fly by once we are there.

6 days until vacation. Still no readers. :sad2:

I guess we will consider this pre-trip report complete.
