Purpose of Trip
Convert more family members to becoming Disney Lovers and celebrate our 30th anniversary
Just returned from a great 6 day 7 night trip-Mission accomplished.. have converted 2 more family members to Disney Lovers!
After a long journey involving a 1.5 hour car ride,a border crossing and 2 flights with a 4 hour connection we arrived at All Star Music at 11:00 pm. 2 of our 3 rooms were connecting as requested and we were happy to check in to the Jazz building. We requested a late check out for 1 room until 1 as we wanted to go to MK for EMH. As we were switching resorts we made the mistake of taking our car to Mk and wound up spending 45 minutes sitting on the Monorail due to some "traffic" according to the driver?? We were still able to enter 15 minutes ahead of general admission and walked on to SM,Buzz, and most of the rides in Fantasy Land. We think Philharmagic is the most amazing show- saw it about 4 times during our trip!!
We left at 12 to switch to Coronado Springs for the remainder of our trip. We loved this resort.It is perfect for our family. Again we had 2 connecting and one adjoining room with a super view of the lake and fountain. The atmosphere is a little different here there were lots of conventioners in suits but we still felt able to relax. Our rooms were not ready until 2:30 so we went for a swim and hot tub at the Dig Site. Had to drag the "kids" away to get ready for Fantasmic Dinner Package at Brown Derby. This again worked well for our family.The meal and service were excellent.The Cobb salad is a real treat .The chief came out to talk with our DD about preparing a special vegetarian meal which was delicious,according to DD.Then saw Little Mermaid.We were happy not to wait in line and even though the seats are off to one side we thought Fantasmic was great.It was DH's favourite show.
