Party of 12 - advice please

I'm looking for a great theme location for us to eat at one of the parks. We will have 7 adults and 5 kids (all over 9).

Everyone's first trip but us so I want it to be one of those "magical" experiences for all of them. Can the 50's diner or sci-fi accomodate that many people? any suggestions please....

teppan edo is great, but i think the table only holds 10... you can call and ask!

biergarten is also a lot of fun and definitely something for everyone...

how 'bout garden grill? you'd end up on the second level but it's great character interaction and good family style food...

not in a park but whispering canyon is great... as is hoop dee doo revue!

our family loved b'fast at animal kingdom...

mama melroses was also excellent for a big group!

Sci Fi cars hold 6 each. When we went with a group of 11, they put us in 2 cars side by side. I don't think they will guarantee that but you would definitely have 2 cars of 6 people.

We found that every place we have dined as a large group has been very accommodating. Except for Sci Fi and Coral Reef (where we had a booth for 5 across the aisle from a table for 6), we have always been seated together as one large group.

IMO, the most magical/Disney feel of all dining is the MK view at night you get from California Grill. The most "fun" we had as a large group was dinner at WCC.

How about Ohana? They have entertainment, get the kids involved and the food good is good and plentiful! If you don't think the kids will like the menu, you can order other off menu items for the kids. Just ask your server...I think they offer the kids items from the Kona cafe. We have gone to Disney several times with large groups and my advise is be prepared to wait a little...I think it takes more time to get the bigger goups seated. Have fun!!
