If you have a lot of space to move around in, try playing coke and pepsi.
the rules are simple and flexible. everyone needs a partner. you line the kids up in two lines, with each facing her partner. one line is "coke" and the other is "pepsi". when you call out "coke" the kids on that line must run to the pepsi line and sit on their partner's knee. when you say "pepsi" the pepsi line must run to the coke line and sit on their partner's knee. when you say "7 up" everyone muust meet int eh middle and stand back to back with their partner. you can come up with other variations as well. you eliminate teams one by one -- the last person to sit on her partner's knee, that team is eliminated. the last team in the game wins.
freeze dancing also works for this age group.
