What benefit does staying at a partner hotel vs a non-Disney partner hotel give?

The partner hotels - Explorers, Magic Circus, Vienna, Kyraid all have free shuttle to Disneyland Paris. They are located at the very edge of Disney Property. They do the park and hotel packages same as the onsite hotels. The non Disney Partner Hotels are located on the Val d 'Europe side. They may not have a free shuttle bus. Im not sure if they do the hotel and park tickets packages.

I think as well they are given Disneys seal of approval whereas the others are just hotels

I've stayed in the Kyriad before and it's a very nice hotel. The free shuttle busy to the Disney Parks is the key to an easier time at DLP.

The downside of the partner hotels on property would be that the walking distance is too far and there aren't really any paths because of this. The shuttle buses get enormously crowded during peak times. Also, the hotels are not themed in Disney style, so if you like to be in the Disney bubble this could burst some of the magic. Other than that, the hotels are all good and clean and sometimes have better breakfast (more choices) comparing to the Disney hotels. But watch closely, because it happened to me more than once that Santa Fe/Cheyenne would be cheaper for us than a partner hotel on property.

The Radisson Blu is a partner hotel with its own private shuttle that doesn't stop at other hotels. Its downside is that its stop is in the entrance of the parking lot, which makes for an especially long walk from the parks.
