Partial day tickets

I thought Disney offered a convention goer ticket that was discounted and let convention goers in a park in the later hours after a convention. Did I dream that up?

If this does exist does anyone know if they extend this offer to things like sporting events? My son and several other kids will be at a weeklong martial arts tourney in Orlando in late September. The competitors will be at the event until around 5 PM each day so buying a full day pass doesn't make much sense.

They do offer this at some conventions but they are usually only sold day of at the convention itself.

If your kids sporting event is hosted on Disney grounds sometimes Disney Sport will have discount tickets. If that is the case you will find the event listed on ESPN world wide of sports and tickets can be bought through the organization throwing it if they are offered.

When I was at a convention at Disney they were selling discount tickets in the latter afternoon I would have got some but I had an AP
