Good news - my FIL was cleared to travel. They're on their way to their house in FL. That's one hurdle out of the way.

I'm a cultural anthropologist - studying other cultures mostly. Taught for a year but research is my first love. I would really love an Ivory Tower right in the middle of Disney World. I could study people from different parts of the world but I think my most interesting research would be finding out why Dissers are such fun, nice people. I wonder if the government would like to fund that?

I'm an amateur cultural anthropologist myself. By that, I mean that I have been a bouncer at a Boston bar for 18 yrs . I have seen people at their best and worst. And I agree... People watching in WDW must be similar to being Jane Goodall.

I can hear the whisper voice now.... Notice how the juvenile **** sapien drops to the ground in an obvious need of a break. However, the adult **** sapiens can not be bothered with tired juveniles, as they feel the call of "getting their monies worth"

I'm sure you have - you could probably write a few books about your experiences. That might be a great idea - could fund your next trip to Disney.

Our contest is getting down to the wire! Only one week until we declare the winner!

I made a big life change today: I redeclared majors. I'm now an AYA Social Studies education major (a.k.a. high school social studies teacher). Lots of reasons why, but I'm way less stressed, and much happier having made the change.

Good for you. Life is too short doing something you aren't 100% sure about......do what makes you happy!

We had an early ADR at Akershus, and a leisurely stroll back toward FW. No CMs directing.

Good afternoon! This morning I took DS6 for his well check and we ha some questions about stomach issues/acid reflux since he had a stomach bug over Labor Day weekend. She told me he has reflux as a result of the bug and that his stomach should even itself out. But it's been quite a while that he has been dealing with this. He is now eating tums like candy. We are praying that it cleans itself up because I don't want to put him on daily meds. Poor kid!

It cold here and we are just bumming around the house watching cartoons. Anyone else relaxing on this holiday?

I had the stomach flu a month ago and I am still not normal. I'll spare you the details. Yes your system has to figure it out without medicine and such. Poor guy, I hope he feels better soon.
