Our contest is getting down to the wire! Only one week until we declare the winner!
I made a big life change today: I redeclared majors. I'm now an AYA Social Studies education major (a.k.a. high school social studies teacher). Lots of reasons why, but I'm way less stressed, and much happier having made the change.

From the energy you give off it sounds like a good fit! We need more good teachers and its really nice to see people interested in the education field. Good luck and glad to hear you are less stressed - its no good for the body or the mind!

can't wait!I know!! You had me convinced to skip it. I thought lunch was only in the Rose Gallery, but this says all 3 are open for lunch. I want to see the Ballroom!!!! But then I looked at the menu and they must have taken off the Croque Monsieur. So now I dont know what I would order. But the cupcakes look delicious and huge!!!!!

Congratulations!! I'm an Anthropologist and I think it is so important, especially in today's world, that our young people understand not only our culture but cultures across the globe. (stepping down off soapbox). Best of luck in you new major.

So glad to hear you say that! I am on my soapbox about that all too often! At home, at least one Sunday a month, I cook something from another country (yesterday I did a curry from Sri-Lanka) and I have a piece of interesting information to accompany that meal - we do repeat countries as there are lots of different foods and tons of info. I love doing it![]()
The fact that I could go in all 3 ballrooms is a biggie to me too. That, and the cupcakes!![]()

Will you get your choice of which dining room you'll be able to eat in for lunch? I know they aren't taking advance requests for dinner.
If it's like the other CS restaurants then you sit yourself, so you should be able to choose. I hope so, or that you can walk around at the very least so I can get pics of it all!
